How to: Create a section break in a Word 7.0 document.
Solution:
Select 'Break...' from the 'Insert' menu and select 'Continuous'.
NOTE 1: To vary the number of columns in a document, a continuous section break can be inserted before creating new columns. A continuous section break immediately follows the previous section, on the same page.
NOTE 2: When a document is divided into sections (indicated by double-dashed lines), each section can be formatted separately.
To insert a section break in Word:
1) Place the insertion point where the break should begin.
2) Select the 'Insert' menu and select 'Break...'. (The 'Break' dialog box appears.)
3) Select 'Continuous' in the 'Section Breaks' group.
NOTE: This ensures that the new section will print immediately after the previous section, on the same page.
4) Click 'OK'. (The section break is inserted.)
